Christ the King (CtK) Church will begin its series “At the Movies” this weekend, on November 26, with the exploration of its first chosen movie “Hacksaw Ridge.”

The movie is a true story that contains Biblical truths which will be shown and explained during the message.

CtK Pastor Crag Bollinger is excited about the series.

“I’m a movie buff and we have heard about other churches doing this.” he said. “We have shown clips of movies, but this time we could show 20-25 minutes of the film to show the biblical message it holds. I am excited to show the felt messages.”

The 2-part message series will conclude at the next service, December 3, with the movie “Lion” being discussed.

Attendees will be treated to popcorn, candy and soda as they enter the church to keep the movie theme intact for the service.

These true stories will touch your heart with Biblical truth. Invite everyone you know (and those you meet) and join CtK at the 9:30 or 11 a.m. worship services.

Please note:  Since the content of movies is not always suitable for children, CtK’s great children’s ministry will be staffed up and ready for an exciting time with your kids.
