In August, we had an amazing Community Groups launch at CtK… anything ranging from groups that mountain bike and hike together, to groups who study the weekly message notes together, to groups who study books of the Bible together, to groups who… well, you get the picture! Lots of group… lots of variety… lots of COMMUNITY!
I am so excited to let you know that we have three new groups launching right now that we want to bring to your attention so you don’t miss a thing. Community is a vital part of our Christian walk. And who knows… this may just be the community you’ve been searching for!
The first group I want to tell you about is Life After Loss: Moving Through Grief. Loss is a universal human experience. Sharing experiences and feelings surrounding loss can greatly aid in healing and growth, spiritually and emotionally. Connect with other adults who are journeying grief/loss in a safe place to share and grow. This group meets Thursdays Nov. 9, 16, 30, Dec. 14, 21, Jan. 4, 18 and Feb. 1 from 6:30 to 8pm at CtK.
The next group is the Men’s Fireside Fellowship Connection. A group of men, gathering in fellowship, His word, and prayer around the fire pit at CtK. It is open to all men and older teen boys. They meet every other Tuesday beginning November 14th from 7-8pm.
And the third group is We Saved You A Seat. It is a group of women & young moms who meet the first Saturday of each month for breakfast, fellowship & a book/DVD study. This season, October 2017- March 2018, we are studying ‘We Saved You A Seat,’ a study on authentic friendships and how this is modeled by Jesus. They meet the first Saturday of each month from 8am to 10am in Lake Wylie.
Of course, if these groups aren’t for you, we have lots of other groups that you can choose from. To learn more about these and all the other opportunities to dive into community at CtK, please visit www.CtKCharlotte.org/Community TODAY!
