October is Pastor Appreciation month.  It is a chance for our congregation to show our pastors just how grateful we are for all that they do for our us.  These folks are available to us 24/7 in case of an emergency, they lead us, counsel us, and care for us in ways too numerous to list.

This month, we encourage you to make a donation and mark it Pastor Appreciation.  If you want to do something a bit more personal; a gift card to a restaurant, retailer, or bookstore is nice.  If money is tight, you might offer to wash a car or mow a lawn.  Whatever you can do will be appreciated.  The whole idea is for us to be a blessing to those that bless us – faithfully, week in and week out.

This year we are also going to ask you to participate on Social Media.  Please post a thank you to our leaders with two hashtags,  The first is #CTKPastorsRock and the second is #PastorAppreciation.    Hashtags are a way to participate in an online conversation.  The world is watching the church right now.  Let’s show them how much we love one another and our pastors by joining in on the discussion. If you are uncomfortable with figuring out what to post, you are welcome to repost the photo in this blog post.

Our CTK Pastors ROCK.  Let’s show them some love.
